I am the Global Cybersecurity Advisor at ESET, Europe’s leading cybersecurity firm. I research and analyse emerging cybersecurity and AI threats, whilst having a particular focus on future crime.

I regularly share expert commentary on major TV networks including the BBC, ITV, Sky News and CNN, and in newspapers such as The Times and The Independent. Furthermore, I am also a regular scams and cybersecurity expert on ITV’s Good Morning Britain and a range of other TV shows.

BACKGROUND

Before joining ESET, I served in the UK police for 14 years, specialising in computer crime within Dorset’s Digital Forensics Unit and Cyber Crime Team. I investigated hundreds of cases and regularly presented digital evidence in Crown Court, supporting prosecutions for offences ranging from fraud to murder.

In 2016, I was selected to pilot a Home Office initiative embedding cybersecurity advisors within police forces across the UK, helping communities and businesses strengthen their resilience against growing online threats. As part of this, I worked directly with organisations to improve their security posture and reduce their exposure to cybercrime.

SPEAKING OPPORTUNITIES

I now deliver engaging, practical and interactive talks for businesses and conferences across the UK. My sessions combine real-world stories with actionable techniques to help audiences better protect themselves and their organisations.

I have spoken at major events nationwide and presented to leading organisations including IBM, Vodafone, The US Embassy, Tesco and the Bank of England. I have also advised the British government in the House of Lords on cybersecurity risks and AI.
